Redecorating in my head always soothes me. In our next place, brick walls, hardwood floors, high ceilings and my own studio (one that’s not IN the living room) are a requirement. Not budging on that again! This way, with high ceilings, we can get a projector with a pull-down screen for watching all our shows. Because that’s important. 
Thinking about fresh starts is also really calming.
